Established as an integral part of Global India Foundation, a registered charitable organization, in the year 2005, VYF operates under the dynamic leadership of Shri D. Suresh Kumar. His remarkable journey as a highly acclaimed social worker and his involvement in numerous organizations in India and abroad have set the foundation for our initiatives.


VYF stands as a beacon of hope for the psychological and job-related development of our nation’s youth. We draw inspiration from the profound vision of Swamy Vivekananda, whose ideals remain ever relevant. Swamy Vivekananda envisioned a path for our youth that is rooted in skill development, leading to meaningful employment, handsome incomes, and active participation in the development of our society and nation.


Our prime objective at VYF is to mold a socially committed new generation, inspiring them to be intoxicated not with destructive habits but with a sense of purpose, commitment, and nation-building.


Key Objectives of Vivekananda Youth Foundation:


Skill Development for Job Opportunities: VYF is dedicated to addressing the critical issue of students facing employment challenges due to inadequate training. Many students struggle to secure proper employment, which often leads to difficulties in repaying their education loans. To counter this, VYF has initiated “Skilledup India,” a dream project designed to provide the necessary skills and counseling to students at school and college levels.


Personality Development: VYF believes in holistic growth and encourages personality development among youth. We emphasize the habit of reading as a means to expand knowledge and wisdom.


Enhancing Education in Government Schools: VYF organizes sessions for students in government schools, focusing on improving study standards, language skills, and alleviating exam-related fears.


Combating Substance Abuse: We recognize the menace of increased drug and substance abuse among our students and youth. Through proper counseling and classes, VYF is dedicated to addressing this issue effectively.


Promoting Digital Literacy: VYF is committed to enlightening and training youth to impart digital literacy skills to older generations, bridging the digital divide.


Leadership and Skill Development: We organize seminars and skill development classes in collaboration with various Management Associations to enhance leadership and management skills among youth and students.


Blood Donation Initiatives: VYF passionately inspires youth and college students to participate in blood donation drives, in collaboration with esteemed institutions like SreeChitra Medical Centre.
